Welcome to Springtime in the Rockies!
After a week of gorgeous, 60 degree weather
Mother Nature has to let us know who's in charge.
Koko thinks she's going for a walk.
But really, they're just taking out the trash.
While I work from the loft.
And wonder where this went.
And dreaming of this.....

Trade you? I want the snow. Badly.
Agree with Joshua! We didn't even have a hint of snow this past winter and supposed to be in the mid 80's tomorrow.
Joshua and Alex - I would gladly trade the snow for some sunshine right now! The snow is gorgeous, and even fun for the first few months. But after 5 months? I'm over it! Do you hear that Mother Nature?
See that bottom picture? That's what I have the whole year round! Sure, sometimes the sea isn't as blue, and in winter the flowers aren't all there, but we certainly NEVER EVER get anything like your first three photos!
Rachel, lucky you! The last photo is San Diego, near where I used to live:)
That can't be spring. You're having us on, right?
Denise
Denise, I took those photos today, LOL!
Love the view from your desk! We had snow on April Fool's Day, but not as bad as yours...
wow, look at all that snow! Wish we had snow in California.
Wow. Well, I'm thinking you're right. Mother Nature just wanted to pick at you guys as a reminder of who's in charge :-)
Deniz, thanks for not mentioning my MESSY desk, lol!
Claire, you have to go to the mountains!
Angela, yeah, Mother Nature is definitely in charge around here. That was yesterday - today it's bright and sunny and everything is covered in white!
This happened to us in England today - a thick blanket of snow, and my poor daffodils took a real beating.
Sarah, I guess we sent it your way. Hope your daffodils make it:)
