Healthy Writers Club: Blah Blah Blah

Shallee McArthur's Healthy Writers Club

So hey. You're here. Again!

And I got nothing for you.

EXCEPT...

Have a piece of fruit!

Because offering you a piece of fruit is probably the healthiest thing I've done all week.

I do have excuses reasons, though. Once again I'm away from home, housesitting with my lovely granddogs.

Diego and Chance

Aren't they the sweetest little things?!

It's been a crazy two months, but I won't go into the craziness right now. Just know that the blog tour is nearly over, the company has gone home, and my kids will be back from their five-week trip of a lifetime to Tahiti, Bora Bora, Fiji, Australia and other ports unknown to me, very soon.

How did you do this week?

Are your granddogs as cute as mine?

I was good on Monday and Tuesday, until Tuesday night when I was running in the backyard with the kids, hit a low spot in the grass, and rolled my ankle. Heard it pop. So did the kids. Not sure how it isn't broken, but it's a level two sprain. Crutches for a week. No high impact exercise for two weeks. Lovely.

Stina, this particular photo was on a road trip, so yeah, they were getting their z's on.

Julie, I adore dogs, too. A nod to me? Yay! I'll be by soon:)

Alex, yes, they were very tired pooches.

Joshua, I read about your accident on your blog. And right when you were getting your mojo back, too! Take a rest and you'll come back strong:)

Your dogs are almost as cute as my cats! LOL I did some walking today and Saturday! I love those pics of you in the mud. I'd like to do a race like that! Hope you can get back to the running. It's my dream to run a 5k. So far, I've only walked/jogged it when I was doing sprint triathlons 6 and 7 years ago.

Beth, thank you. I just adore them. I hope to get back to running, but I have to work my way back up. You should google "Couch to 5K" it's a great program for getting started.
